Corvettes are just plain cool and alot of fun. I have had my 72 convertible for about five years now and still marvel at the styling and good looks. Corvettes look good, sound good, drive well, and are always popular when on the road. My personal favorites are stock (except tires for driveability) bumper cars and older, but find many great looking cars on this forum. The "show me your sidepipes" thread a while back had some awesome cars in it.
No paticular reason for this post, must just be having a little "Corvette Fever." We are lucky down south, Corvette is a year round sport!
Lucky Bastards Up here in Breckenridge I am lucky if I can get 4 months on the road with the Vette. The vette is currently in the garage and there is 3 feet of snow outside the garage door. Could not help to start up the car tonight and let it run for 15-20 minutes or so with the garage door open. It sounded nice and begged to be driven. Oh well, just need to come up with some more mods for the winter while it is in the garage. For those of you luck enough to drive all year round - I envy you - But at least I get to go out skiing tomorrow if I want.

Speaking of fun, I raced a C6 (not Z06) Sunday afternoon. It was a 'light-to-light' affair. I lost, but at 80mph his rear bumper was even with my front bumper.
We both had GF's in the cars, but his was definitely on the chunky side, so I had the edge there.
Too bad I had just filled up the tank--I might've kept even.
Not bad for a stock '77 automatic L-48 C3. Well, it used to have an L-48 in it anyway.
