Calling all body alignment pros
I am having trouble getting the hood to line up with the fender lines. The alignment at good at the hinge point and the latch but thats about it. I was thinking that the front has drooped down a bit or something. I have loosened all the steel support members and tried to jack the front up a bit but no-go.
The alignment was good before we took the car apart so I know its something I am not doing right. Any ideas?
Have a look;

When the front and rear are flush ,you need to use what are called hood alignment bumpers. they are rubber and you shave them to achive the height. they fit in the gutter area. best of luck ,murray

Also looks like you need to move it forward a little too. after aligning the front and rear height you need to align the rear edge so it is flush with the edges of the fenders at the windshield. Put your spacers in and then let it sit in the sun for a day or so to give some then align again for proper gap. Do this before too long after the spacers are in so you dont get the curve in the hood in the wrong place.
