Which heads would you choose for a 383 Stroker Motor? Vortec or Dart Heads. WHY?

the new alum. vortec's if mine,,,, cast crank not going over 5500 rpm i want the torque from the bottom

GM fast burn or Edelbrock E-Tecs. Both are aluminum vortec heads.

Depends on your camshaft and I assuming this is a street motor, not high RPM strip motor.

With a larger cam and standard vortec's you will need to upgrade the Valve Springs. No biggie.

i chose motown - II heads.mostly for price but they meet all my requirements by far. my engine keeps reving past 7000 and i had to get a limiter. thinking about aluminum afr's though for the weight savings
