Default Seats??

Hey guys, just wondering what my best option is for seats for my 72 that will provide some more support and side bolstering but will still look natural in the car as well as provide a good level of comfort. I'm hoping for something that's a direct bolt-in and can be had decently cheap. I've heard that the 78-82 seats aren't bad and bolt right in - is this true? How much can I expect to pay for a set and where can I get them? Any other options?

I've seen a lot of post and pictures where folks rework/cover the Fiero seats. They fit well in the car and are cheap at a wrecking yard..some even have speakers in the headrest.

My favorites are the 94-96 Corvette seats, and #2 are the 88-89's. Use your C3 runners and bolt them to the newer seat. You will need to drill some holes, but all can be accoplished in a couple of hours. Clean & lube the runners before you put the seats back into the car.

I've got a set of '88 non power seats in my 1980. Work great!
