GS4 Axle
I have a 77 L-82 M-21 4 spd w/ AC. It is a low mileage (46K) all original car. It is an "orange motor" instead of "blue" meaning it was one of the first off the '77 year assembly lines, most likely using 76 drivetrain parts. In fact it is the 8th car produced that year, built in Aug 76. I haved owned other 76/77s also.
I also have the build sheet. It lists the rear axle as 3.70 GS4. All the books I have say the 3.70 is RPO G92 and is for the RPO L82/
21 for high altitude applications above 4000 ft.
Anybody know what a GS4 3.70 axle is?
