Default 1971 Engine Block

Well I just got another vette, a 1971 350/270hp, 4-speed, w/air. It doesn't have the original block. It is a 3970010 block but the engine code is VO803TRJ which I think is a truck block built at the Flint plant on or about August 3rd. How can I find out more about the "TRJ" on the engine code? This should tell me what it was mated to.Thanks

The 3970010 was used on Vettes, but that's definitely a truck suffix.....

Try this link:

EDIT: V= Flint motor; 08 = August; 03 = 3rd day

Thanks to both of you, with a truck motor that would of gone into a C-20 or C-30, maybe I can pull a boat or tree stumps out of the ground, what do ya think? Thanks again
