Has anyone done the removable window on their post 72 vette? I was looking at the Vette Specialties one. Are there others besides trying to locate parts individually? If so how do you like it? Was it worth the effort? If you did it yourself how tough was it? I think mine needs recauked and was thinking of a good excuse to do this!
I have installed the removable rear window i both of my 73's. I like the rear window very much. I purchased the parts individually, most from ebay. I believe the folks putting together the window package are charging about twice what I paid for my parts.

You need at least:
rear window with frame and bottom pins attached
upper latches (screw onto birdcage)
early year rear roof panels (w/latch cutouts)
weatherstrip
optional:
window storage tray/hinges/latch
I found a nice window on Ebay for under $100, and I found
a spare one for $27 !!! (after shipping it was $50).
