with the local vette club. Not many vettes showed and our '75 vert was the ONLY C3. All the rest were C5s, etc. Sorry...we forgot the camera, doggone it. One guy during the route shouted at me "Hey, a real corvette!". And I say...that's the first time I've ever heard anybody say that my '75 is a "real corvette". Made me feel good, so I tossed him some candy.
The 50th Anniv vert at the lead started popping hot steam there near the end, and the old '75 purred along problem free. My wife was throwing candy like an Arab shootin' at a weddin'...some of it straight up. It was fallin' back in the car, bouncin' off the hood, and kids were duckin' on both sides....like me. Beautiful weekend here though, sunny and in the 50's.
