Default picture resizing

Can someone resize a picture of my Harley if I send it to them? I'm not real swift with computers. I have tried uploading my picture to my gallery, but the picture is too big. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

windows xp has that functionality, also you can log on to WWW.Microsoft.com. and do a search in downloads, and look for XP tools, one is pic resizing...

I will search for the link and post it

Did a search on power toys, not there...but xp will resize your pic.

Depending on what system and software you have this may be a little different. When I open a picture, it opens it Microsoft Photo Editor, but most programs should operate in a similar manner to the following. On your toolbar there will be a heading something like "image." In the drop down menu it should have a "resize" option. When you select this you can typically resize in many different ways. You can give a percentage of the current size (60%), you can give physical dimensions (3" x 5"), or even pixels (300 x 500). Try this and let me know how it works.

Speaking of pictures, how do you insert one into your post? When I select the insert picture icon it comes up with "Explorer User Prompt" and I don't know what to enter here. Sorry, just still new to this site.

Try here, maybe it's the "image resizer."

Another way is to open up Paint in Windows. Open your image. Click on Image on the top bar. Then choose Stretch and Skew. Then enter different percentage values for Stretch. Changing it to 50% for both the vertical and horizontal will make the picture 1/4 as small.

Image Resizer is the way to go. After the program is downloaded, just right click on any picture on your hard drive, choose resize, and make the picture whatever size you need.

I have had this program for a while now and always try to resize my pics I am going to post. This tool works great for that.
