Intake decode question
I was hoping someone could help me figure out what this oval port cast iron intake came from. The casting number is 8283753 with a E 21 71 date (May 21 1971) it also has CONV 3 near the rear of the intake. It still has a honkin size Q-jet on it. If ya have any clues let me know. Thanks!!

Is the intake from your vette or off something else? I was interested in the fact it had a Qjet on it. I have a '73 bb and have been inquiring about the stock carb that came on the '73. It looks like in '72-'74 both 350s & 454s used a Rochester 4MV, spreadbore Quadrajet. Do you have any idea what c.i. engine the manifold belongs?
