Winter Projects - Need some advice
My two main projects for this winter on my 76 Vette are to fix my power windows so they go all the way up and to get my Door Ajar light and buzzer to quit going off.
For the window: I played with this a bit last year but never got access to the actual parts in the door to replace the teeth on the actuator that are worn down. I removed the door panel , but how do I get to the moving parts. There is all kinds of support structures in my way and I don't know how to get around them.
For the Door Ajar: I have played around with the contacts on the door that when depresses should shut the light on the dash off and the buzzer. The lights that come on under the dash when the door is open come on when open and go off when closed, but the warning light on the dash and the buzzer are constant. Should I just kill the buzzer and pull the bulb or is there a simple fix?
