Our group(21 vettes) delivered toys to the Anza,Ca fire station today, then grabbed lunch at the Tumbleweed Junction Cafe (Saloon).
Note fire truck leaving on a call right after we got there(last pic)..fortunately they returned shortly so we could turn over toys...and,Tumbleweed owner got a ride in the 53...02 ????

Sounds like a great outing. Thankfully, you had some C5 & C6 coupes so you could actually bring a respectable number of toys.
We had two "chase" trucks loaded besides what individuals vettes carried....the fire capt told us we doubled what they had received from their local community...
Yuck, I can't stand those 53/02's. I saw one in person at the Goodguy's show in Charlotte a few months ago. Design abortion... or it should've been. Half and half just isn't working. Not a huge fan of the SSR either but when I think truck, I think function.
Love the rest of the Vettes though, especially that red one
