I may replace The oil pressure gauge later but I put them here for now. I put a water temp guage and water pressure guage. Two of the three most important guages . I also have warning lights for all of them.

72 RAY does your license plate match your forum ID?

If so, I've seen and photographed your car at a Sears Point track day. That's quite a haul from San Marcos. I also think I saw you once at Buttonwillow (or Willow Springs, I can't recall which "Willow" it was.)
Sorry about the text written across the images. My friend found a guy on the NASA forums who downloaded and posted my shots of the American Iron race from that same weekend. I made sure from then on that my pictures display credit regardless of what people do with them. If you'd like an unaltered computer desktop sized picture of your car, let me know and we could work it out.
Other shots from 8/6/05 are here: http://gcrall.miller-motorsports.com...E+08%2D06%2D05 with the root directory here: http://gcrall.miller-motorsports.com/images/
Here's a picture of those Autometer gauges as of August of this year.

Am I correct in saying I see what look to be Hella FF75 lights mounted under the nose? Those are a nice addition.

I have a Rabbit GTi with the European bumpers. The Euro. bumpers have provisions for turn indicators, but my car has the U.S. grille (now the über rare 'Hella Grille') with the turn indicators on the outer edge. I didn't find a need to keep the turn indicators in the bumper; doing so would have been redundant. I took measurements of the stock openings and found that FF75 driving lights would fit in place of the stock indicators. I bought some and they've provided to be a welcome improvement.

Now that I have the Hella Grille that has its own set of driving lights, I may go back to the U.S. bumpers on my Rabbit and install the Hella FF75s for my Corvette; that's a really cool idea. I imagine that more light on these shall we say, "technologically challenged" cars, is a welcome addition.

Nice exhaust too by the way. Are those Spin Tech mufflers? I've heard good things about them.

1969Vette383,
Yes, That's me. I saw your pictures on the NASA Forum. Very cool. Infineon was an awsome track and great fun!! I run with NASA so you will see me here and there. I plan on running in the National Event in Sept. at mid-ohio. The driving lights are Hella but I'm not sure which ones. I don't use them much but they work great when I do. My mufflers are Spin-Tech and they are great. I custom built my exhaust system and (if I do say so myself) it works great. I went from the side exhaust to this under chassis exhaust and I love it. It still has a noticable rumble but not so defening as the side exhaust or the burns . Stop by and say HEY next time we are at the same event.
See ya then!
Later!

I shall indeed say hi. My friend drives a first generation RX-7 built to Pro-7 specs. Miller Motorsports is the name they race under. He and his brother take the car up and down California running with NASA (and sometimes Cal Club). They just recently competed in the 25-hours of Thunderhill, but that was with the second race car my friend bought; an ITA prepared RX-7 out of the midwest.

Your car was the first C3 that I had seen with Autometer gauges and that was earlier this year at one of the "Willow" tracks. I know I took pictures with my friend's digital camera (I didn't have mine yet) so I'll ask him to dig them out from his hard drive. I wanted some good pictures so that I could use them as a reference.

My car is a non-numbers car anyway so I figured I would update to the newer gauges. I also had the idea to use the Autometer gauges but to find a way to put the stock black face inside. I wonder how I could make that work?
