The C2 price boom amazes me. There seem to be hundreds of low mileage cars around, and they cost at least twice what an equivalent C3 would be. ProTeam is taking advantage of a very bullish C2 market. You could invest in coins, they choose to play the Vette market.

Barrett Jackson is fun, but they have done the average hotrod hobby guy a real dis-service with their inflated prices. Regular guys can't afford much anymore.

Why does everyone always seem to be bitching about Proteam? My God, they're a business and they're supposed to make a profit. As far as I know or have heard, they aren't acting dishonestly.
I would never buy a used Corvette from a dealer but then some people are willing to pay for convenience and easy financing. That's what they bring to the table.

Did you think they were going to resell it for $25,000.oo? It ain't a hobby. Besides it's only the asking price that is listed. If you go in without a trade you'll get a better deal than the asking price. NOW, you gotta know if you have a trade-in they win BIG time. Lots of overhead a Proteam, no differant than any other dealer.

Is he a bad guy because two bidders had money to spend and both wanted his car...badly!
I cannot afford any of those cars either but that's life. I've enjoyed my mint condition '81 for 15 years now and just wrote the check for another years worth of insurance for $300. Add a few tanks of gas and I'm liv'n large for little money!!!

And of course - to someone that must sell a car - the final selling price is what someone is willing to pay at the time - not what the seller "thinks" it should sell for.
