I painted mine flat black. Because of massive corrosion, there was no way to raise the lights when the P.O. had the car painted a non-factory blue over the original white. The lamps and bezel were an awful mess of white and blue overspray. When I rebuilt the headlight mechanisms, I used flat black for the bezels since I'm not ready for a paint job on the whole car and I have no idea what the paint code for the body is. Originally, the flat black was a stopgap color, but the more I see it, the more I like it. I'm thinking of keeping them black for good. Just a personal preference.
