Vbp: C3 = 69-82???
. It doesn't make a difference in the suspension anyways it's all the same.

Some of the suspension components on the 68 are the same components used on a 67 (C2). The front wheel bearings are the same as a 67 and the front wheel spindles are the same as the 67. The rest of the suspension components on the 68 are compatible with later year C3's. Actually the rest of the 68 suspension components are also very likely compatible with a C2 also.
VBP is very knowledgeable. If they listed a 68 as a C2 it was perhaps a typo, or more likely, it was on purpose to make sure you didn't buy the C3 parts that wouldn't fit.
