1980 vette
Recently purchased a non chrome bumper vette. The only thing i seem to have a problem with is the 85 mph speedometer. Does anyone know if any other year dash will fit the car, or does someone make a new cluster that will adapt. 1980 corvette

My '78 goes to 140. It has the same dash as your 80. I don't know for sure but I think a speedometer from a '78 will work with no alterations.
Check e-bay or your local junk yards for an older spedometer.

There is a fella in Florida who will change the face of your speedometer to 140mph for $80.00. The speedo is easy to pull and you can't beat his price. I don't recall his name right now but I know he has been around a long time. If someone can come up with the name. OK here it is Corvette Instrument Service

Yep had it done on 8/20/05 total cost $88.00 it looks and works great. He can also change it to 240mph for the same price. I don't drive over 130 so I went with the 140mph.
