'68 Corvette - Change interior??
I'm thinking about putting leather interior in my '68. It currently has the origional saddle vinyl (#420 factory intalled '69 color). I also want to put in the cut pile carpet instead of the 80/20 loop. Any thoughts on what this might do to the value? It currently has rally red paint, however, the factory paint was British Green. I've got the tank sticker that confirms all of this. Everything else on the car is origional.

If the exterior color is already been changed from the original, I don't think that changing to leather and cut pile carpet will detract from the value any differently. It's your car, do as you please. If that is your preference, go for it.
