My subscription is almost up for Corvette Fever magazine, and I was wondering what else is out there?
I'm more interested in "how to" articles and C3 stuff than the latest bolt on plastic thing for a C5 or C6.

Isn't that the truth. I still think CF does a pretty good job on the C3 cars. They have to sell magazines and there are a lot of C5 cars out there. I wish there was a C3 magazine only but I don't think there is enough out there to support one.
Don't waste your money on "Vette" magazine either. You'll actually get the most info right here on the forum. To me that's definitiely worth $25 a year to become a supporting member.
Corvette Fever is the best for tech. Best all around. Corvette is also a very good mag. It has more history of corvettes. You can't go rong whit these two.

you know i get a slew of magazines and i think Car Craft and Street Rodder are two of the best. corvette magazine, corvette fever, chev high perfomance and hot rod sometimes just get too boring.... yes car craft, I know that seems strange but they actually have useful information

I have always liked Hotrod magazine. It is one of my favorites. Even though I will never be in the same league as most of the cars in that mag, I still like to read it. I also like Chevy High Performance because it is a Chevy mag. As far as corvette magazines, they are all priced way too high really but they are niche mags. I like Corvette Magazine and Corvette Fever. Corvette Magazine is well put together and very slick. Just over look the abundance of advertising in it. Corvette Fever I have just recently started taking again because of thier new retrorod is cool stance.
I like Chevy High Performance because it deals with Chevy only. And the only good part is you get to see new stuff that is on the market mainly.
But to me there is NOT one magazine that can compete with the CORVETTE FORUM. Everything here is up to date along with people willing to help. How in the world can you beat that? There is no way.

I subscribed to Vette mag for about 4 years. I cancelled it last year, and prefer to use the forums. Not enough C3 stuff in the mags to make a subscription worth it anymore.
The problem with all of the American magazines is that on page 79, there will be an article about how product XYZ will increase horsepower by 48% and is easily installed. Then on page 80 there is an ad for product XYZ. Coincidence?

Tell me more about this supporting vendor stuff.
How does one find out about it.
I agree with you that I get more information and better quality of info on this forum than any of the Corvette Mags and I have subscribed to them all over the years since I am getting up there age wise and have been reading about Vettes since I was 14 which seems like 100 years ago.
VETTE lately has been doing the C3 L88 racers. This month they have the James Garner AIR 68 L88 written by Wayne Ellwood founder of the now distinct SHARK QUARTERLY and the August 05 issue was loaded with SHARK racers.Corvette Fever is probably my favorite as well as Corvette Enthusiast, but i do agree the FORUM is great...JERRY
I've been getting CF for almost 20 years, still have them in storage. The early issues were much better then recent years. I've seen some poorly written tech articles on rebuilding rear bearings, differentials and other jobs. I no longer subscribe to any of them.

I AGREE, CF is the best place for info and help anywhere, any time.
and most of the people here are more than willing to help.
