I have look for Rocker Molding to my covertible -69,and i have only seen
them in plastic.I wont to have them in Crome or Stainless steel. For -70 or newer have i seen, but not to my -69.Where can i buy them? Here in Sweden can i dont buy them. Help me to find it
Factory 69 rocker mouldings were two pieces. The uppers were aluminum and the large lowers were painted fiberglass. If you want the chrome look, just install the 70 style moulding that was one piece. If your original mouldings are in decent shape, you can paint them a shiney silver color and chrome the upper aluminum moulding. http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?p...dept%5Fid=1486

Thank you for your anwser. Is it the same "fitting" on the Rockers from 68 to 72?I believe that 68-69 have a same fit and that 70-72 have a own fitting. But is it as you say its very good, than have you solve my problem
hanta, I have not put 70-77 rocker mouldings on an earlier C-3, but have seen them on more than a few. It appears they are a direct bolt on and listed seperately for their unmistakeable different appearance and to be NCRS correct. Maybe, someone will chime in who has done this personally. I wouldn't want you to order them to find there is some modification necessary to make them work. Wait for a confirmation on this or a personal testamonial.
