older hotrod magazines
I am wondering if there are any form members out there that collect older hotrod magazines.I am looking for July of 1982.Specifically an artical called Trachoautomy .Im not sure on my spelling.It is an artical of a 427 buildup using openchamber 71 LS 6 heads and a big cam to lessen compression but not horsepower.though I still have all the ori.stuff,one of the owners before me followed this article to the tee.I believe Jim Jones was responsible for the build.Any help would be appreciated,Darryl

Sorry I cannot help you with your Hotrod issue. I did however just recently pick up a copy of September 1969 Hotrod magazine. It is so cool to look back at the old magazines and see the old cars that were new. T shirt ads for Roach studios. Etc. Etc.

If this post would have only happened a year ago.
My mom was going thru some of my old stuff and throwing things in the attic away. She came upon a few boxes of my old Super Chevy and Hot Rod mags. I saved all of them back then. Had subscriptions from about '80 till '90. Told her that I did not want them and to get rid of them. If I would have only known.

it's neaopolian dynomite.... great movie..... sort of like an "office space" movie....... basic but the characters make the movie....especially kip.....

Kona ,tried to contact hotrod direct,they never answered back,guess I should have told them I have a bunch of money for them LOL.thanks for the reply skydaddy,my story,to little to late,Darryl
