I test fitted the seat rails on the replacement floor pans and I think I must be missing something, either information or parts (or both). As far as I know, the seat rails are Corvette stock and the bolt holes that mount to the seat frame match up fine. The problem is that when I set the rails down on the new floor pan and align the front with the pre-drilled hole above the threaded reinforcement plate, the back doesn't go all the way back to the "dent":
I could deal with this on the inside rail, but the outside rail ends in the seat belt retractor indentation:
Since I never saw the car before the old floor pans were cut up and covered with fiberglass, I'm not exactly sure what's going on. Is there supposed to be a part that goes between the floor pan and the back end of the seat rail that extends its reach so that the attachment points are in the small "dents" at the very back of the floor pan?
