LS-Five
I agree about the quality.
Purchased a new radiator from DeWitt for my 68 restoration and it was an exact match for the radiator they put in at St. Louis assembly. Every marking and detail was identical and I defy anyone to tell it was not the original. I can idle my car for 30 minutes and no overheating whatsoever. I tried it, since the car is not registered and the only way I can run the newly rebuilt engine is idling in my garage or driveway.
I highly recommend DeWitt. Excellent product and great to deal with.

Want a new radiator/fan.
Can't afford good stuff/right parts yet.
can afford cheapy thing from box store.
Good Parts work right first time for long time.
Cheapy parts make car break down and me say bad words.
Good parts look right in corvette.
Cheapy parts make corvette look like honda.
I guess I'll just keep saving my pennies a little longer.

Tom, HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Thanks for your support and participation in our hobby and Forum. I will be on your web page later today for my "present". We will be so happy to get the '78 back on the road again.

(Sunday the 15th - Was called out of US for a job and just got back. Realized I hadn't followed thru with my order and almost missed out. WHEW! "Got 'er Done")

Happy Birthday Tom! We really appreciate your genuine vendor participation.

Mine is an '80 model L48 automatic. A couple of years ago I purchased your Direct Fit and it has worked great. I don't recall the part number.

Well, now I'm giving some thought to storing my 350 and going to a GM502. Do you have a Direct Fit for a big block application, in an '80 model? If so, what is the part number. Or would my current DeWitt aluminum Direct Fit work just fine?

Thanks,
Travis

It will work as is, or you might want to consider adding the dual fans for a boost.

BTW, I am trying to monitor seven GP threads so if you are interested in this offer, please check the website for obvious price quotes and model numbers, etc.

So what does it allow you to do? Adjust the turnon temps?

Starts off at the low temp settings at 50% speed and ramps up to 100% at your upper temp. Works very well. Easy to program also.

Those fans work great. They're the only solution I've found that will control my big blocks temp around town in the summer.
