Power Window Motor Removal?
This is all from memory, I have misplaced my service manual. When I took mine out, the window was first out, had to bump it up and down to line up the holes to remove the bolts holding it to the regulator. After the glass was out, I took out the regulator and motor as one piece, again bumping it up and down as needed to get it to drop it's rollers out of the channels and to angle out the large opening at the door's bottom. After that it was just unbolt the channels and small piece up on top of the door. I also took out and replaced the wiskers on the outside top of the door, I can't remember where that happened, in the process. When I put it back, I went in reverse order. The biggest problem was getting the window to work properly, as I didn't think to mark my channels location and in cleaning everything up, I eliminated any paint or dirt marks that might have indicated where to start. Just take a deep breath and go to it, it will sort of work itself out. Good luck.
PS I guarantee the second one will be easier than the first.
You can stop with the motor and then you need to line the regulator up so you can put a bolt thru to hold the spring. See service manual if you have one.
PS; Why are you removing it?
I guess if your window motor is totally DOA then you might have to remove the roller track from the window to get it free from the regulator mechanism. My window motor was just very slow and weak. Getting the windows worked into the door frame on my '68 was such a PIA that I didn't want to remove it. I don't know if later year c3's are any easier.
Don't forget to block the arm in place with a bolt before removing the motor or the tension spring will unwind and give you a surprize, if not hurt you.
