Default Problems With Zip Products?

I was thinking of ordering from Zip Products but with all the complaints I have read I think not, (shortages, not returning e-mails, poor customer support, ect) has anyone else had problems with Zip?

Same here. I even returned something because I thought it was defective when in fact it was exactly the way it should have been. I have always had a good experience with ZIP.

I've always had good luck with them. I even think they have some kinda deal with the shipping gods because their stuff gets to me faster than anybody else.

I ordered a headlight vaccum kit and color chart from them, they sent the hoses and a note that said his printer was down and could not send the chart with the rest of the order and was sorry. He sent the chart the next week and refunded all my shipping charges for the entire order. I was very happy for his effort. Product was good also.

My complaints are process related. I ordered from the website only to find that everything I ordered was backordered (didn't know until I got the email). Shame on me, I guess, as it was my first order and I put a little faith in the online system.

I had emailed them for a status on the order, and didn't get a response. So, I called them and they gave me a new ETA for some of the order.

When it was all said and done, one of the parts was pushed back a few times, and then I got an email one day that said the part was discontinued and that part of my order was canceled.

Problem for me is that my days are busy enough that if I had to wait to call to order parts just to know if there is a chance of getting them sooner rather than later, then I'd never get anything ordered.

Plenty of people have posted and swear by them, so I guess it's like what another company told me -- I'm just a bad customer.

Brian.
