Wow, no clutter on the workbench, nothing on the floor, no washer and dryer, two windows. A dream garage, and oh, theres a red Vette in there too. Only thing missing is a lift. I am so jealous. OK, I gotta know, what size adapters are you running for those Y2K wheels. I just bought 2.5" and 2.75" for my Z06. Bolting them on tomorow, MLK day.

Thanks for the complements on the garage, usually I get
"a clean garage is the sign of a sick mind" on this forum.
Two terms apply to wheel fitment - backspace and offset:
Backspace
This is the distance from the back edge of the wheel to the hub mounting surface. To determine the wheel backspace:
Position the wheel face down.
Lay a straight-edge across the back of the wheel.
Measure the distance from the straight-edge to the wheel's hub mounting surface.
Offset
The wheel's offset is the distance from its hub mounting surface to the centerline of the wheel. To determine wheel offset:
Position the wheel on a flat surface and measure its overall width.
Subtract the backspace and divide by two.
Ok, I admit, I AM curious... How'd you do that back hatch? Don't know that I'd want to go that route (just got the rear deck of mine ready to paint), but I would like to know...
