Default Need AC advice Please - 76 R6 Comp.

I replaced ALL AC components in 1995.......now my compressor has leaked oil/R-12 freon out.

Convert to R13a?
What is R-12 replacement "Freeze 12"?
Eliminate POA?
Convert to Sanden AC compressor?

Just replace comp./ evacuate / refill?
Just replace comp. & dryer / evacuate / refill?
Just replace comp. & dryer / convert to R-13a fittings & hoses / evacuate / refill?

Search created more questions than it answered

Thanks,

Jim

I'd replace the compressor and the dryer. I'd keep it R12 or convert to R134. No way anything else. Both styles of C3 compressors do not take well to long periods of inactivity. When you get in the car run the a/c or defrost for a minute or so and let the oil circulate.
