Just wondering, are the left and right front spindles the same part?

Upon closer examination of the ad, perhaps they're referring to the shields...?

it's an assembly and the steering knuckle is different L&R as are the shields, if it's just the bare spaindle it will have only 1 part #.

Just the spindles are the same. Backing shields, steering arms, and caliper brackets are left or right.
