I got my frame and bellhousing back today. Thought some of you may want to share in my excitement... what do you think. By the way, all the running gear will be black.
Sly,
I am jealous. But I get so tired of you non adventurous types with your complete cars that have all the parts still there, yada yada yada. I noticed you have a cover over your window motor. What year is your car? I wonder if this is yet another item that Bubba felt that my car did not need. It looks somewhat necessary. The car looks good so far, keep up the good work. I wish I would have done the frame off on mine.

You're right, Money Pit all it takes is a little touch up paint and off you go... My car is a 1969 Vert. Wiper motor was there when I bought it, but it didn't work. I had it rebuilt... I did clean the undercarriage today. It got up to a whopping 45 degrees today, so I figured now is as good a time as any... Also started to port the intakes on the heads, only enough to match the gasket opening at this time.. Seeya...
Looks like she is coming along nicely. Take your time and make sure all the
frame/suspension bolts are properly torqued before thinking about a body drop.
I cleaned my underbody in a similar fashion - but I started mine
with degreaser and a putty knife to scrape the crap off.
Then kerosene and a scrub brush before going to the power washer.
