...guys, really think about this in all seriousness. THAT motor to the RIGHT person could make the value of his car go from $20K to $200K or perhaps even higher if what this guy has truely is an "L-88" engine and that the original car is still in existence running around with an NOM smallblock. Also, too look at how much "correctly"(not original)done CLONE cars are bringing. Realistically, if it is an original L-88 engine, it's probably a "buy".
...look at that story from a year or two ago where there was a '67 L-88 convertible without it's "original" motor and the original motor surfaces and I believe that "motor" brought $35,000 or maybe higher-I forget the exact amount. The value of that '67 convertible with an NOM probably went from $40K to over $650K(probably even more as I write this ).
I did. He's not giivng the VIN which could be understandable.
He gave me the Suffix which would be a L88 .
I supplied my car's VIN to him and am waiting for a reply now.
The casted date of the block and heads is August, my car is October.
Hmm, could be close.
