Default 1981 Weatherstrip

I have a 81 vette in the shop getting repainted. Original clor was beige, new color black. I am having the body shop install all new weather strips. My questions is what is the best company to purchase weatherstrips from. I am going to purchase as much from GM as possible, but I know all the pieces are not available from GM.

Appreciate any advise

I just replaced the T-top WS on my 81 a few days ago. I used Corvette Rubber brand from The Last Detail. It seems to fit ok and the quality seemed good and they have good prices. I replaced my door WS years ago with CR brand and it is holding up very well.

I got a hood seal last week from Ecklers and the package had a Corvette America label on it

That's how I found out myself. Weatherstrip was one of the first things I ordered, even before the car had gotten transported to me. Before I got to know the different vendors Ecklers seemed comfortable and safe to deal with, so that's where I ordered the stuff for my T-tops, doors, etc. May have paid $20 more for all of it than if I had shopped around, but the parts were first rate and my T-tops don't leak any more!

Now to the power steering control valve. Oh yeah, and the leaking oil pan. And the tranny fluid drip. And that parking light that goes out when I apply the brake....
