driving the vette
had a bad day today. repaired the exhaust leak. wanted to take the 69 out for a drive. battery had gone bad. was showing signs earliy but would take a charge and start. this time it wouldn't charged it for 24 hours with a charger. guess i will have to replace the battery.

So your 'Vette has been showing signs of a failing battery. How long has this been going on? You couldn't replace it before it completely gave up the ghost? Do you have to send ALL your money to starving children in Africa?

i just hope things go easier for you and the battery then they did with me.
first the battery died, droped the new one in and it still wouldnt fire up. starter died, spent almost a month trying to figure out why the starter worked out side of the car but didnt work in the car. ended up frying a couple of main wires to it. after that it ran for about 3 days and then the spark plugs died.
last summer was not fun at all...
