A couple of cometic changes I made are the following:
1980 nose and gas cap emblems - just a personal preferrance - I like the chrome better than the black plastic for 81.
added the StingRay back on the fenders (just because GM became to cheap to do it doesn't mean I can't )
The luggage rack came on the car from the dealership and/or factory.
The Roof Panels are new "see through" black - I also have the body color panels as well.
New wheels - (79 style) will be added when I reverse the white letters to the outside - the guy before me bought brand new raised white letters and had them put on the inside for some reason. Also bought the spinners for the center hubs.
Irish, very nice job and great color! The white letters and spinners will be a nice touch. Did you use PPG BC/CC material? How about your equipment, was your compressor a two stge compressor and 60 gal tank? Were you able to paint the entire top coat at one time, or do it in sections? With the quantity of paint on the shelf, it looks like you paint professionally.
My buddy is the professional painter - I just mainly get in the way and help out when I can BTW he's one of the best Corvette body/painters on the east coast

The compressor I can find out about - the top coat (a gallon) went on, I believe at one time. The color is custom - only a 59 and a 60 and my 81 have been painted this "Secret" silver/gray mettalic

I was gonna say that but ya beat me to it... the car looks great, just seems out of place without white letters on a C3...
The front bumper looks darker than the fender (only on photo #4) ?????
Nope all matches for the moment - as you know on the urethane eventually you may see a color change due to the material differences and the way paint lays on fiber glass vs. rubber. I notice a bigger change in my 95 Competition Yellow. GM had big problems with the yellow paint they used.
What you see in the pic is just the lighting at the moment of taking the pictures - not a sunny morning here in Maryland yesterday (Saturday) - overcast most of the morning when I took those pictures.

On the other photos it looks fine, must be the light....
By the time you see a color change on the urethane it's warped anyway

Irish, sorry about all the questions. I was with the notion you were doing all the work yourself and I wanted to pick your brain. He did a fine job, but now you will have to walk a lot farther across the lot.
I've never been a parking lot vulture any how LOL - I've always ended up on the back row away from others. But even doing that many is the time that I have come out and found another car parked right next to mine - that really burns me up!
