Some cars have them, some don't........
.....Generally they're glued on top of the gas tank....but I've heard they've also been found behind the kick panels and dash...
.....since the build sheet wasn't as important then as it is now, they weren't designed to last, weren't protected in any way, and could be found anywhere a GM worker wanted to leave it (like his lunch box.......
).......
Personally, I found mine on Ebay.....
