2 Questions
I have a 69 300/350 auto. When I purchased the car the odomiter was not working, Where do I start to find the problem? and second does it matter if it works. Does millage matter on a 37 year old car.

Does the speedometer work and not the odometer , check the cable, does the car have cruise control ? To some people the mileage might matter but the car is afterall 37 years old and through how many previous owners and whos to say if any one ever messed with it. Thats about all I can add,,,Peace,,, Moosie

Speed does work, although it is off about 8 miles an hour the best I can tell, no cruise control. I do know previous owner and he knew owner before him, so I do believe him on what was done to car. But like you said, your never sure. So I'm thinking other things need to be repaired first before I focus on odometer. Thanks
