Default Stroker kits in the UK

Some months ago I think someone put a link to stroker kits available in the UK.
The price was / is £650.
Lost the link - can anyone point me in the right direction again,
Cheers,
Hugo

hi hugo...you can buy your kits in usa, i've bought my full engine assembled, runned in and dinoed in usa and they've sent right out my door (in Spain), i personally think that direct contact with the people who actually build the engines in usa is more satisfactory then buying in europe as you deal with more experienced people on these engines there...my personal view though

Do you mind me asking how much you paid all up for this and what spec engine you got? I am guessing it is a little more than £650

you guess right , i've paid about 15.000 usd for my 406ci 570hp full assembled stroker BUT if i bought it in europe (anywhere) the SAME engine would cost me much more and for sure i'd risk to buy from somebody didnt have any clue of what he was talking about...in general if you can buy anything for the engine in europe at 650 usd be sure you can buy it in usa at less or at same price (because of freight) but at least you'll have a better and wider choise, and with the euro at 1.21 against usd the iussue is even more convenient

If you have the money why not spend it, 406 sounds really nice to me, and yeah it is one thing to buy a stroker kit and it is another to have it in the car and the car back together again running!

If you can find a link for a stroker for £650 you have to think about what kind of quality you will be getting....not very high I would guess. I am UK based and have found it cheaper to buy all parts in the States and have them shipped. Even having to pay the import and duty and VAT makes them cheaper. The only time I would buy in the UK would be if I was in a desperate rush for the part, knew it was a good 2nd hand buy or possibly...ebay, again with its own risks.

If you do find the link for that price, post it and let the guys here have a look.

Hope you find what your looking for.

I also thought it was a good price - and the spec was good.
Was a dealer - need to find it again cos I'm planning to do my engine asap.

Wher in the UK are you??
Hugo.
