Default My HYDRAULIC engine puller (picture)

I wonder how many engines have been pulled out of corvettes with their tractor? The manual puller became too unstable so we attached a come along to the lift on my tractor but it started slipping under the weight. So a large chain and a 70 horse tractor EASED the BB right out. No "you might be a redneck" wise crack please!!!!! [IMG][/IMG]

You "might" be a Redneck if you use a tractor to pull the engine out of your ole vette

The next best thing to the old ASH tree in the front yard, works for everything from pulling engines to skinning wild animals, and the neighbors get a good show to boot.

Hell, I used my friends forklift to pull the engine and trans on my 72 Chevy truck.

Up, down, side to side, and tilt.....

Gave a whole new meaning to slick.

All the people who posted redneck remarks are just jealous.

Heck, all this time I thought you might be a dentist (2th farmer?).

I can't see anything red neck about it! The hydraulics will leak down on farm tractors tho so you have to be careful and not leave it hanging too long. What is that saying about mother of necessity or something like that! Way to go!

Actually with a bit of string and a tractor, one could pull a loose tooth.

I've used a skid steer many times to remove and install engines.
No, I don't tan much at all. My skin generally burns instead.

The has got to be the most expensive cherry picker ever. YOu wouldn't even have to undo the motor mounts, You could just yank the sucker right out.
Seriously that is about as stable a hoist as you could possibley find.
I used a front end loader a long time ago.

You might be a redneck if you use the kitchen curtain for a fender cover.
