Default my personal experience

hi, my personal experience in the year or so that i'm regularly coming here is far more important and educative then i could ever image it could be before i became a member...but the thread is about the tipology of the members staying here , i've been reading regularly the C3 and the C6 forums, the first one because i have a C3 and the second because i was thinking of buying a C6Z lately this year...and funny enough i found out that most of those who attend the C6 forum are quite different to those attending the C3 one...
Am i saying a stupid thing if i claimed that C3's pals are more friendly then C6's and that C6's guys lack a bit of sense of humor? also, it seems to me that the C3 people is more radically an enthusiast of the vette and of fast metal in general and eventually is more likely to put the hands in the works, instead the C6's are more the kind of those looking for a fast and nice looking car only...also, here i feel i could write nearly about everything and still be considered a reasonable fellow , on the other forum i've been even told that i was spelling my threads in an unproper english (...and i've answered to the guy who wrote it that for sure i could spell better in english then him in italian )...in general i feel at home here, i feel at home there as well, but in the C3 is like living with a young girl known recently and still rich of passion and positive attitudes who forgives you nearly anything, in the C6 is more like living with an old wife who never let you have the last word and make your cold feet colder everynight...

How true. Welcome home.

We usually don't talk about floor mats either.

You're right. Of course some enthusiasts buy C6.

I lived in Europe for 11 years and most of the people there were real tolerant of me trying to communicate in German and French. Very few people got mad when I was trying to do things in their language. Usually as long as I tried they were real helpful. Your English is much better than my Italian and I think you are doing pretty good at it.

If you want to let someone else install those new floormats we'll still talk to you. Don't forget the stripes, they are worth 10 horsepower!

I've met C5/C6 guys who could not identify a 78 Corvette...typical question is "what year is that".......they do better on the 69....usually get within a year or so just guessing...
They are a breed apart from the C3 folks....

just for fun let me take what you wrote out of context....."the C3 is like living with a young girl known recently and still rich of passion and positive attitudes who forgives you nearly anything, in the C6 is more like living with an old wife who never let you have the last word and make your cold feet colder everynight"

I think my cars name is Sybill cause it has the dual personality that you describe...you just never know when .....

You know, if you do buy the C6 Z06 you can still hang out here. And, you can tell us if it's really as good as they say it is.

Some of the C6 seem to have a sense of humor:

For the same reasons i also switched forums.
You put it far more eloquently than i did. And you are right on the mark. These guys can be found under the hood, not standing around looking at it. Welcome aboard.
