it was painted over but i scraped alot off hopefully i read it right...

according to a restoration guide i have:i04 is the build date june 4,trim 292 dark blue leather and paint 28 is dark blue metallic i assume l is for lacquer

actually the "L" is for lower. even though it is a single color vehicle that was usual in the code. those vettes with split paint like the 25th anniversary silver, or the pace car list the paint codes with an "L" for lower and a "U" for upper.
