crap, was hopeing that would tell me everything about the car. guess not...

anyways, heres the trim tag if you dont mind letting me know what that is.

Chevy M17 (may be H, hard to tell)
Trim - Z04
980 Paint

if that doesnt tell me what sized motor/HP was in the car, where would i look to find the codes for that?

anyplace on the vette like the camaros Cowl tags that list all the specs of the car?

ok, thanks, thats what i wanted to know.

i assume if i get the numbers off the block i can find out what kind of power its putting out?

and your right, it probably was ZQ4, the tag is pretty well worn down.

raise the hood look below the head on the passengers side. there should be some letters and numbers stamped on the flat surface on the block. that is the only way to tell on a 69. the data plate will only tell you the build date trim color and material and exterior body color.

ok, ill take a look at it tomarrow.

one last question, i found a list of leters/numbers online that list what the car came equiped with, A01 Soft Ray Tinted Glass, all windows, A31 Power Windows, A82 Headrests, it goes all the way from interior options, to suspension, clutch, motor, so on and so forth.

where would i find those numbers on the car?

as for options, i know its a 4spd manual with manual everything. it has both ragtop and hardtop, headrests, and i think thats about it. i have no idea what transmission it has, or anything like that.
