Sweet setup!! I've read where a Weber setup like that is darn near like EFI. Love to have one but I'd have to totally re-educate myself to get it tuned like it should be.

Setting that up would give anyone gray hairs...err...except Lars. He probably had something like that on a go-cart as a kid.

I'd really like to do a setup similar to this except using 8 throttle bodys and port EFI. Strictly for the visual impact (bling).

Yeppers you can use the ported vacume for mercury sticks like on a motorcycle but why lol. They make a neat little item that you can just put on top of the venturie stack to set the baseline of the carbs. This is not only to set each carb up for base but also to set up the linkage. I know I know TMI lol.

But Drooooooooooooooooooooooool

Well G please enlighten us with your vast experience with webers.

I myself have set a few sets up and run very well and very crisp on Porche,VW,Big Block Chevy and Small Block and IDA's on a couple of Ford Cobra's. But heck okay I will listen as I am just a beginner. Currently for my own use have a pair of 48 IDF's on a little 2275 VW that is slow only will run mid 10's

those unisyn flowmeters suck, the 4 column mercury is much better and much easier to use, easier to get the carbs synched because you can hook it up to 4 pairs at the same time whereas with the unisyn when you mess with one and it affects the idle you afect the others also...like running around in circles.
