Default Did something stupid....(pics now)

Ok guys this might hurt expecially when i post pics.
Ok i was going to take my vette out, my one friend she wanted to get pictures of it on the road. Well my brother blocked me in the driveway with his van, so i decided to go around in the grass of the yard. Well i got half way around my house till it was a little hill, Well we had rain that morning and i didnt notice how wet the ground was.
Well i get down the one hill and when i come to go up the other one my rear end slips out from under me and i start sliding. I hit MUD AND ALOT OF IT. I stopped and try and go foward with a little bit of gas, No luck i back up get a bit farther and start going back and foward trying to get out of my mud tracks. Not much luck.... So i tryed pushin it Not luck there either.

Well it goes on and on till i finally said screw it threw it in park shut her off and went out. Right now my vette is in the mud with mud EVERYWHERE and shes white so mud all over, tires are pure mud too. This is a big mess so tomorrow morning i am getting up really bright and early and hopefully the ground is frozen and going to try and get her out.

I feel so horrible i got her all dirty and i feel so stupid Well guys post your thoughts i coudltn belive when i did it, once i hit mud i screamed i knew i wasnt getting out. I will have these HORRIBLE scene posted tomorrow, when i go and try and get her out i will take pictures. I feel horrible and im so mad at my self i was going to punch myself right in the face. I think i deserve the dumbass of the year award its official
Post some of your tragedies and maybe pictures if you have them.(pictures will be up tomorrow)

Its not so bad, but i have to admit she has spunk she wants to get out, Its like a bonding experience of mud wrestling and she beat me... But she wants to get out its just a matter of takin the time and wrecking more yard..

That's not so dumb. your being to hard on yourself. you didn't break anything or damage the car you only got it stuck in the mud and dirty. Get it out tommorrow and wash and wax it. Then thank the vette gods that you didn't slide into a tree and do some real damage.
But send the pic's we could all use a laugh.

You haven't done anything really dumb YET... so get some help tomorrow. Probably need a tow strap to pull it out. Make sure you attach said tow strap to a secure point (not the front bumper!) Good luck!

At least you didn't shut your garage door on it . I don't know where you are in PA but in the Poconos its too warm for the ground to freeze. Good luck getting it out

I wouldn't do anything stupid just take it to the car wash and get her clean. Remember bad things happen in three's. I tried to cut across the center grass on the parkway one night (very late) it was raining and I got on the north side and after 5 miles I realized my mistake (#1) then I got mad and instead of driving another 5 in the wrong direction to u-turn I decided to mk my own u-turn. You guessed it stuck up to the chasis in mud. (mistake #2) then when the tow came I had to get out of the car & walk over to get the chain & hook it to my car. Stepped out into 6 inchs of soft mud in dress shoes and pants (mistake #3). Now don't you feel better.

It doesn't look too bad to me. As has already been said, once you get it out, just clean it and be on your way.

Why didn't you just go inside, get the keys to the van and move it? Seems like that would have been the easier solution.
