Wow that is a long time to wait. But when you hear it running you will forget all about the wait.

I was just wondering what happened. That's going to be an awesome ride for sure.

Will it fit under that hood?

That's going to be cool! How many cubes?

Surprises me to see domed pistons......what compression will it be and how much boost?

What's the rest of the combo....heads,cam etc?

I have a buddy with a '70 benchseat 4 speed Nova that he has had since new. It was a 396/350 car originally, but now has an L-88 in it that he installed back around 1980 or so. That car is a lot of fun!

I've had a '68 SS396 Pro Street/Drag one and a '72 and a '74...all of which were running big blocks. Nova's are neat!

Thanks for the cheers guy's
I don't think there a hope in hell that this will fit under the hoo.d The car came with a 4" cowl hood, but i can't see me cutting a hole in it....there to expensive.
Will probably try to get a flat hood second hand and get it sent out.
Got the bling, may as well pose it

Still love the vette, but the Nova is one great looking car. There are probably more out here but i'm still yet to see another one in the flesh.

427 Hotrod: Not sure what i'm looking at HP wise, maybe you can give me clue? Here's basic some specs

Merlin iii block standard bore
Ross pistons built for supercharge and spray
compression 8:1
Childs&Albert Plasma moly rings

Pro topline 360cc runner heads, i don't have all the flow figures handy but was told that they flowed 780hp@.700"
Protopline has flow figures on their page, mine have been worked a bit and engine guy said they flowed better than the figures on the web page.
Yellaterra pro platinum roller rockers standard ratio
Ferrea race valves
Isky triple spring retainers and collets

Cam is crane part# 138791 sollid roller guy with crane rollers
Eagle 4340 crank and 3d rods 6.385 long with 2000 series bolts
Blower is a generic Weiand 871 will be running between 10 and 14 pounds boost(if blower is capable)

Carbs are a pair 825 Barry Grant blower carbs
Pipes are 2 1/4"
Distributor is an MSD pro billet guy with mechanical advance and a 6al ignition

cheers

You have a merlin block and you only went for 427 cubic inches? It would cost exactly the same to build a 540 and it would easily outpull a 427? I run a almost similiar setup in 460 and with 15% overdrive regularly see 12 pounds of boost. Reverse your pulleys if you want to see more boost.
