Info Needed 82 Sivergreen
found an 82 sivergreen/matching int. with 9700 miles. with documents, cars is in outstanding condition, looking for low end and highend value and more info.........im new at this

Look thru as many sites that have Vettes for sale that you can. This will help you with a price range. Be carfull of a 9700 mile car, older car's odometers started over again after 100,000 miles. Check out suspension bushings, hoses, general condition of engine area and undercarriage, they should be clean and in good shape if it's only a 9700 mile car. Look at interior for signs of wear also. Check frame for rust, light surface rust is OK. The color is not too common, quality of paint is important, new paint job is very costly. Don't jump into it without comparing it others that are out there. Maybe there is a forum member that's near you that can look at it with you?

You can steal it for $5,000 or....$10,000 would be a good deal if its as clean as you say.$15,000 I'd consider it but would need to think real hard. Anything above $15,000 I'd start thinking about pre 1972's with potential....you are now getting into a price range of more desirable vehicles. Make sense???

It won't be long before 82s (and others) are truly collectors

molested than earlier year C3s. I don't think I would go over 15K.

Go to NADA.com and get a quote. Low end is around $7,500. mid range is around 12-15K and high is around 18K.. I have seen some of these in the 20K range but there is no way I would pay that much for anything newer than a 72.
