got a little work done...the damn bolts on the crash bars are still giving me fits and gonna have to cut em like i originally thought...

does anyone know how to get bolts off that have locktite on em?

Use a propane torch on the bolts. If it has Locktite on it it will "bake off".

im either buying a propane hand held torch or a cutoff wheel...one way or another these damn bolts are coming off!

ttt for the guy looking for restoration answers...boy do i have many...lol

like i said before, i aint skeered of work haha

yea its so funny to see me rolling round the garage..ive got the local classic rock station blaring, garage door open, budweiser in my hand and just rockin out! i look like this

i will have more pictures tomorrow evening when i remove that damn stubborn rear bumper! haha!

back for some updating! well ive got the rear bumper and crash bar assembly off! took a little convincing with a BFH but she is off...i took a few pictures to let you guys check it out...it kinda looks funny...almost like the rear of a c6 if you put a flush bumper on haha! anyways more for your enjoyment...wnmech (rick) is planning on dropping by later this week to help me wreck off the body bolts to finish up getting it ready for body removal...

keep an eye out!

i looked but i cant tell....it wasnt behind the dash so im assuming its on the tank...but there is a black rubber pad blocking my view of the other side of the tank...

If you have a chance, please take some photos of your front extension...the bottom side. Mine is tweaked where the front would bolt to the spoiler so I'm trying to get a reference to build from. Thanks

It is looking good..Take your time! it is very rewarding as you make progress.

I found my take sticker on top if the tank.. reach up around the front side of the tank and see if you can feel it. if so...then I just worked mine off slowly. if it won't move...then drop the gas tank...it's worth getting.
