Default Flames paint patterns for C-3

I have been looking for possible flame patterns for my C-3. Anyone out there have a few pictures or a website with different flame patterns or designs.Trying to find the primo pattern/design for my 78. Ghost flame application is the plan.

What about doing some type of ghost "real flame" or "stylized flame" underneath....that may be kind of cool.

Thanks man,
It looks good, but was looking for something a bit more subtle.

there is a guy in my vette club with a '78 that has ghost flames.
His car is black with gold flames. I have a few pictures of it on my website. Here are a few different links to different shows I took pictures at with his car. Just look for the black '78 with the flames - it's hard to miss!

I've always liked CF member Vetteflame79's flames.

ghost flames usually refer to a change in illusion from the main paint and not really an apparant image....... the flames could have a colored pearl or candy to make them only show in sunlight........

i would stay away from flames and strips.......

ghost flames are nice only if done right and not too obvious.....hence the term "ghost"

candy is a tinted clearcoat. flames cannot contain candy. candy can be painted over flames.

...and i think you mean stripEs

You are absolutely right about the "Ghost" description.....it should appear out of nowhere catching you by surprise. Right now I am looking for a subtle pattern to apply the "Ghost" to the flame.
