In 1997 I kept a used one (salvage title) for a weekend....93 model with 29000 miles. Had been in a horrific wreck...but I admit it was put back together really nice. Could have got it for about 15K. Should have bought it I suppose. I redlined from 3rd to 4th at 125 mph on Hwy 411 outside of Fairmont,Ga and got really SCARED.... .......backed off and threw it in 5th and slowed down. I don't remember if it was a 6 speed or not ! Should have bought that car.
They weigh 3033lbs if I am not mistaken. My neighbor has a white 96 as a daily driver. Repair costs are not bad considering. Not much more than my wife's CLS was back in 01. Only reason I don't have one is that I only like the 2002-2005 models and they are too close to Z06 territory in price.
Want a fun Honda ... I'd look at S2000 ... pretty impressive acceleration.
yep, an NSX is REEAALLLY nice but crazy for a daily driver cause I'd be protective as hell with it!
I think its definitely a head turner cause I've rarely seen one in person myself so it's more "exotic" than a C6 corvette.
A Honda S2000 (with a cool hardtop) would fit be better as a daily driver and just as much fun to drive... but I'd buy the NSX too!
If you're feeling thrifty, no harm in buying a Civic to go along with it instead.
-Great that a corvette forum can appreciate Hondas...
