HE77 YEA!!! Go for the stainless ones, theyll last forever and those are comparable to the comp cams and crane versions at half the price. Actually, I think they are made by one of them but not sure. Dont forget the stud girdles at that price as well, youll save about 250 bucks on the package over most other vendors, but youll need to resize your stud holes for 7/16 studs.

That's a big waste of money.... they don't really rotate. It's all marketing hype.
LOL.... just kidding.
I bought a set of Summit roller tips to test.
I just finished building a Chevy 305... after a leaky fuel pump, arcing coil, broken HEI connection, bad plug wires, and several other gotcha's, I am finally going to do my "roller tip test" this weekend.
Took me 3 days to find my rocker oil deflectors.
The engine is on a stand... I'm going to remove the temporary valve covers, dry off the rollers/rockers and reference mark them. Slip the oil deflectors on, and run the engine. I will try to strobe a rocker with my timing light... see if the reference marks move.
i was gonna buy the full rollers for my 383 build and the builder advised me against them. he said to go with the crane roller tip rockers, since he used to buld for dale earnheart sr and others for nascar, i took his word for it

That's interesting, since the consensus here (and what GM engineers have done with the LS engines) is that you should have a roller trunion and standard tip. The trunion is where you see all the gains. Maybe you're seeing why he's a former NASCAR engine builder...

THe one on the right is from Comp Cams, a very good proven roller rocker used in thousands of motors for many years. The one on the left is from who knows where but my guess is the world renowned hot rod CHevy hangout, CHINA. I'll take the ones on the right every time at least you are sure what they are made of. When you have thousands of dollars invested in a nice piece don't take any chances
