Yeah, but how many 3 speed 69 vettes are out there? I don't know if I've ever seen one in person. That might be part of the reason for the high price. And if the frame and birdcage are sound, then the replacement of the interior won't be that much.

in the matter of 3 speeds it depends, how many cars came with autos that year?? Unless of course it is in fact a 4 speed and 4'th gear is gone
After 9 years in the elements in WY the floors are definitley GONE, the entire interior NEEDS to be completely removed, thrown out, and replaced with new and that is only the start.
It MIGHT be worth that much if it was a numbers 427

...if I got my numbers correct, they're was 326 '69 3spd cars built and I think 424 '68 Corvette 3spd cars built.
...passed 11 years ago at Corvettes@Carlisle(stupid me)on a Monaco Orange '69 coupe, 3spd, no radio, no power steering, no power brakes-a zero option car for $10K with 51,000 original miles on it and it was gorgeous-did'nt have the room for it but have regretted it ever since.

Who in their RIGHT FREEKIN MIND would leave ANY Corvette outside for 9 years with the windows down?!? That guy needs to be shot and have his Vette taken away on principle...

Yes....In 1972, we had a Professor (old gray headed woman) at Ga. Southern College that drove a 69 Convertible / dark green / with a manual 3 SPEED >> We laughed at her !

ok so from the pictures it looks more like the car was in a flood. look at the ground around it and look at the picture of the engine compartment. im gonna have to raise the BS flag on that and say that it was in a flood. the vette that i have now sat outside for about five years with the windows down and the inside looked way worse than that. also if you look at the picture of the car with the girl looking inside it you can mud tracks from the car where they pushed it out of the right side of the garage. just my .02
I guess that includes the original headers, chrome 12" air cleaner, stamped steel valve covers, and winged valve cover hold downs, and after market stereo with the cut bezel.
All Original.

Plus it has that RARE 1969 Cassette option.
I think LiquidDragon is on to something regarding flood. The upper dash is in good condition for the window being down for 9 years. Dang has 1997 really been that long ago!!
