I bought a 1972 support from Maddog here on the forum. I guess I've looked for an OEM support for a couple years. Rick explained that this support was from an Arizona car. WOW...to my surprise, this support has NO rust on the outside what so ever!THANKS MADDOG!!! BUT.... the insides had that telltale rattle of rust chips. So I opened up one of the seams and every single chip is now on the floor. What has anyone used to " seal up" the insides of radiator support?? Are the POR products a good thing to use? I was going to seal off all the seams and pour some POR-15 into the radiator support and hopefully get the POR to seal everything up. Whatdaya think?? I need some ideas and methods that have been done. If my POR idea seems good...how much of the POR stuff do I buy? A pint or a quart?
HELP PLEASE!!!

I'd think a pint would do, but the quart wouldn't hurt. That stuff goes a long ways. I'd get the silver stuff, it has metal particles suspended in the mix. Assuming you have just one entrance hole I would pour it in, close the hole with tape & spend the next 1/2 hour spinning & rotating the frame. After that I would pour out the residual & let it dry for several days, then plug the hole with POR-15 putty. After that hardened, I'd then POR-15 the exterior black.
